ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL WEEK 2021 AT WSBPI “APEIRON”: TOGETHER DESPITE THE PANDEMIC!
On 10–14 May 2021, Erasmus+ International Week 2021 at WSBPI “Apeiron” was held in Krakow, Poland. Due to pandemic restrictions, the event was mostly held online.
Despite this, we managed to get in touch with our foreign Erasmus+ colleagues and share our experiences. The event helped us share our good practices, among others those regarding the current situation related to COVID-19.
HEI presentation session & Erasmus+ COVID-19 experience sharing
We invited our Erasmus+ International Week participants to give speeches in which they could introduce their university. The guests were also encouraged to share with us their university’s experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. These included experiences with Erasmus+.
Below you can see a slide from a very engaging presentation by Erasmus+ Team from Vasil Levski National Military University in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria:
WSBPI “Apeiron” presentation
We also presented to our guests a presentation on WSBPI “Apeiron” so as to encourage them even more to further cooperation:
Promoting ecology, citizenship and digitalisation
WSBPI “Apeiron” follows the latest guidelines proposed by the European Commission for 2021–2027 Erasmus. Therefore, a presentation was held during Erasmus+ International Week 2021 by the title “Ecology, citizenship and digitalisation – new trends in Erasmus+”. It was prepared by WSBPI “Apeiron” Erasmus+ team. The speaker told the participants how going green, being an active citizen and using Erasmus+ App can be addressed in our universities’ Erasmus+ programmes.
Erasmus+ Information Desk
We invited our guests to come to our Erasmus+ Information Desk. Due to the special pandemic situation, the Info Point mainly worked online, via phone or e-mail. But, as every year, the participants could talk there to WSBPI “Apeiron” employees dealing with Erasmus+. They could ask for some of Erasmus+ themed education aids or materials. They could discuss prospects for future common activities under Erasmus+. They could also tell us about their good practices related to Erasmus+. Finally, they could simply have a friendly talk to us so as to practice their international communication in English!
We are hoping that we will soon meet on the occasion of another Erasmus+ activity inspired by WSBPI “Apeiron”. We hope that the health situation on the world will allow us to meet everyone safely in person!
