No matter if you are an EU citizen or come from a non-EU country, you must have a valid health insurance during your stay in Poland.

For EU citizens: apply for a European Health Insurance Card in your home country before you come to Poland.

For non-EU citizens: buy a health insurance at an insurance company in your home country. Remember, it should be valid in the territory of Poland.
