,,Current theoretical and implementation aspects of security sciences” Areas of the XX Security Forum scientific conference:
- Security Sciences and their substantive core, research subject and object, considered from the perspective of security sciences as opposed to the political science approach of security studies; security entity – personal and collective (including structural) dimension; security environment: opportunities, challenges, risks, threats, and interests of the research subject (its values and pursuit of satisfying associated needs, including the need for development).

- Security culture – 3 attributes of SC (resilience and adaptability, protectiveness, defensiveness) and 4 functions: F1: identification of active and potential threats; F2: care for the existing level of security; F3: recovery of a given level of security when it decreases; F4: increasing security and development – raising the security threshold when forecasts indicate an increase in threats: this includes necessary devices and development for personal and collective security and institutional security entities.

Papers can be presented in Polish or English. Speakers are asked to prepare short multimedia presentations in English – it is an obligatory requirement.
Development and perspectives of modern technologies in education in the field of civil protection – The thematic block shall take place as a part of the project called Development and Perspectives of Modern Technologies in Education in the Field of Civil Protection, ID: 22320267
The deadline for accepting applications with abstracts is 30th of April, 2024.

Articles for publication
It is also planned to publish the articles sent to the conference in English, in the quarterly WSBPI „Apeiron”, entitled „Security Dimensions”. Articles should be sent by – June 30, 2024.
„Security Dimensions” (ISSN 2353-7000) has been published since 2007. It is an international peer-reviewed open access journal. Our quarterly magazine received 40 points on the MEiN list, it is also indexed in such databases as: ERIH PLUS, NSD, Publication Forum, CEJSH, CEEOL and ICV (in the last two years with a maximum of 100 points).

Terms of participation in the conference:
The amount of fees for participation in the conference is the result of the composition of:

(after qualifying the material for publication) – 50 EU

The fee for doctoral students is:
